Matt Dronfield is Director of Advice Services at Toynbee Hall, where he leads services supporting people facing financial hardship, including one of the UK's largest free debt advice partnerships. His work focuses on widening access to high-quality advice, combining partnership delivery with practical innovation such as digital tools and video advice kiosks in community and prison settings. He has led the transformation of a fragmented partnership into a more unified, technology-enabled network, improving performance, quality and reach while keeping professional judgement at the centre. Matt has over 15 years' experience across financial inclusion, youth and community services, and employability. His work has been recognised at the Third Sector Awards, including Best Service Delivery Innovation in 2024 and Charity Partnership of the Year in 2025. Alongside his executive role, Matt contributes to the wider sector as a trustee of AdviceUK, a Non-Executive Director at Richmond Housing Partnership, and Chair of Governors at Hall Mead School.
