Malcolm John
Founder , Board Racial Diversity UK
I have over 20 years' experience as a trustee/non - executive director in a wide range of charitable organisations working on a diverse range of social justice issues. This has included several years in a Vice Chair/Chair role. I'm currently the Founder and CEO of the newly registered charity, Board Racial Diversity UK, aimed at addressing the significant under-representation of individuals from Black and Asian backgrounds on trustee Boards. I'm a trustee of three charities, the Association of Chairs, the national umbrella body for Chairs of charities across the UK, the British American Drama Academy and the Charles Dickens Museum, an Independent Panel Member of the Ministry of Justice Public Appointments Panel and Panel Chair for the new initiative, Charity Hall of Fame. I am a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Companion of the Chartered Management Institute.
