Malcolm John

I have 20 years' experience as a trustee/non - executive director in a wide range of charitable organisations working on a diverse range of social justice issues. I'm currently the Founder of the UK wide campaign, Action for Trustee Racial Diversity, aimed at addressing the significant under-representation of individuals from Black and Asian backgrounds on trustee Boards. I'm also a trustee of the Association of Chairs, the national umbrella body supporting Chairs of charities across the UK, a trustee of the British American Drama Academy and an Independent Panel Member of the Ministry of Justice Public Appointments Panel. I am a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Chartered Companion of the Chartered Management Institute.
