Jane Partington

I am co-founder of The Bread and Butter Thing, a food and community charity working in more than 50 locations across Northern England . Our mission is to support our members to engage with their community and access support whilst also feeding themselves and their families well. We prove it is possible to provide people with low-cost healthy food in the heart of their community. In a previous life, I was a partner in a national accountancy practice for many years providing financial advice and support to businesses across the corporate spectrum.

I am looking for an innovative entry which is creating something new. Ideally the winner will have a scalable idea which either they or others can develop to create a signficiant impact.
