Heather Blake

I am Chief Executive of Changing Faces, the UK's leading charity for everyone with a scar, mark or condition that makes them look different. We provide unique and life-changing wellbeing, counselling support, skin camouflage and education services. We also campaign to challenge attitudes, prejudice and discrimination so that people with visible differences can lead the lives they choose. 

I was previously Director of Support and Influencing at Prostate Cancer UK, responsible for leading their service delivery and work to ensure that men with prostate cancer have access to the best treatments and care. My other experience includes senior operational and strategic management roles in the NHS, including responsibility for community health services in South London. Prior to joining the NHS I worked as an economist and policy adviser in the civil service. I am currently a Trustee of Royal Trinity Hospice, Clapham.
