Firoz Patel

Firoz is passionate and determined to contribute to social change and global justice through supporting, mentoring and developing people, ideas and organisations which have a net positive social impact through cross sector partnerships. He is an inspiring and strategic senior leader with experience in an international commercial as well as not for profit setting; bringing strong commercial acumen, solid governance, risk management and fundraising experience along with an entrepreneurial and innovative approach with a successful track record in partnership development and income generation. His extensive network and rapport with stakeholders have resulted in outreach for start-ups and NGO's associated with Children, Women's Empowerment, Anti-Trafficking and International Trade initiatives over the past 15 years. Astute in relationship building and navigating and influencing a wide range of stakeholder relationships, his expertise lies in getting the best for the beneficiaries and for the partners. Firoz advises and serves on a number of International Development Charities and Leadership Boards. He is currently working with the National Zakat Foundation to help shape and deliver a transformation programme. NZF is the UKs largest cash distribution charity which distributes over £8 million per year in cash grants eligible people in the UK. Every month they help around 3000 people in desperate financial need in the UK
