Young Lives vs Cancer & Morrisons

Young Lives vs Cancer and Morrisons

Since Morrisons and Young Lives vs Cancer’s (formerly CLIC Sargent) partnership began in 2017, we have been working together to provide better quality support for young cancer patients and their families. Thanks to the strong engagement of Morrisons’ colleagues, customers and suppliers, £15 million has been raised in just over four years. Now in its fifth year with an end of partnership forecast of over £17 million, the final year of this record-breaking partnership will fund the opening of Young Lives vs Cancer’s Home from Home in Manchester, Jack’s House, and its running costs for five years. The partnership has continued to grow in strength and adapt to the challenges brought about by Covid-19. Even with fundraising activity limited and events cancelled, the partnership raised £2.9 million in 2020. This is a testament to the strong engagement between Morrisons’ colleagues and Young Lives vs Cancer’s cause. In four years, the partnership has made lasting, fundamental improvements to the ways Young Lives vs Cancer (YLvC) is able to support young cancer patients. The new Home from Home that Morrisons is funding will create a lasting legacy, benefiting families for years to come.
