Testimony 360: People and Places of the Holocaust

The Holocaust Educational Trust

Testimony 360: People and Places of the Holocaust is a ground-breaking free digital education programme from the Holocaust Educational Trust that combines interactive testimony with virtual reality, revolutionising access to survivor testimony and providing an invaluable opportunity for students learning about the Holocaust.

Launched in 2024, Testimony 360 is delivered across the country and focuses on the experiences of Holocaust survivors, Manfred Goldberg BEM and Susan Pollack OBE. Two further testimonies, Hannah Lewis MBE and John Dobai, are in post-production. The programme has changed the way that the Holocaust is taught about in schools and is free of charge. During a session facilitated by specially trained educators, students can have a conversational experience with a Holocaust survivor’s recorded testimony, long after survivors themselves are no longer here. Using virtual reality, they explore historical sites associated with the Holocaust– all within their classroom.

While it is impossible to replace survivors, Testimony 360 helps to ensure that their legacy lives on beyond their lifetimes. This programme is vital in ensuring that young people understand where antisemitism can lead.

Testimony 360 is sponsored by The Eyal & Marilyn Ofer Family Foundation in partnership with the Holocaust Educational Trust and the USC Shoah Foundation.
