Delight

Tasmin joined Delight as an Arts Programme Administrative Assistant, during the government backed Kickstarter programme during Covid. Initially shy and quiet, Tasmin showed exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and organisation. After a successful 6-month placement, she became a permanent member of the Delight team and began taking on greater responsibility, including supporting a new Kickstarter employee with learning difficulties. Tasmin showed the greatest sensitivity and care.

Over the next couple of years Tasmin's confidence grew and she was promoted to Arts Programme Coordinator, overseeing complex resource creation for 2,000+ children across 25 schools in Surrey and Croydon. She continuously championed making environmental sustainability choices in procurement and continued to learn and develop, leading our volunteer programme and representing Delight at events.

In summer 2025, Tasmin became a Programme Lead, being the frontline contact for teachers for three flagship programmes that reach 1,320 children and 44 teachers annually. Tasmin skills continue to develop and her empathy and diligence make her a real asset to Delight and the communities we support.
