Save Sight. Change Lives.

Fight for Sight

The film aimed to bring to life Fight for Sight's brand narrative following the merger of Fight for Sight and Vision Foundation. Specifically, when someone faces a diagnosis of vision loss, they face two urgent, profound questions. Can this be stopped? How can I live my life? As a funder of scientific research and social change, we are uniquely placed to answer both questions positively. We wanted to show this through lived experience and showcasing the scientific research and social change we fund. A critical part of the brief was that the sound should work as hard as the visuals. As a vision loss charity, it should be understandable to someone blind. Therefore, we leaned into sounds that reflected each narrative. For example, in a painting of a painter with glaucoma, we amplified the sound of her rattling the sides of the glass jar she uses to wash her brush. We also wanted to connect the challenge and solution. For example, we featured someone with vision loss who wanted to play cricket and the project we fund that teaches blind cricket. Finally, it should highlight our vision, which is to Save Sight. Change Lives.
