Recycle Bike Hub

Naomi House & Jacksplace are hospices for children and young adults, providing specialist palliative care to more than 550 families in central Southern England. The Recycle Bike Hub team of volunteers helps raise funds for the hospices through a sustainable volunteering initiative. They have saved over 1,000 bikes from landfills by refurbishing and selling them to new owners, raising more than £80,000 to support the care provided by the hospices. The initiative also offers a welcoming space for volunteers to connect, share a common purpose, and build a sense of community.
