In a year when Racing Welfare’s service delivery and fundraising methods were turned on their head, the charity’s communications team stepped into the breach, delivering a record year for both the numbers of people supported by the charity and for donations.
The teams’ passion, creativity and dedication to the cause led to innovations in the way we communicated with beneficiaries and supporters alike. An understanding of each other’s skillsets and areas of expertise has engendered a cohesive approach to projects that have resulted in a real impact for the charity.
The teams’ culture is based on empathy and hard work and with this as their driving force, they have delivered comms that have both informed and struck a chord with a wide-ranging audience. From virtual singing competitions and a new podcast, to engaging information on services and access to support, the quality and quantity of communications delivered throughout the year has been exceptional and essential to the charity’s performance.
