Family Fund Business Services (FFBS) was launched in 2013 by our parent charity, Family Fund, to generate unrestricted income for the charity. FFBS provides an easy-to-use online ordering portal where our Local Authority, Housing, and Charity customers can order items such as vouchers, white goods, furniture, and cash payments for quick delivery to those they support. FFBS gifts its profits to Family Fund as unrestricted funding to strengthen the financial position of the charity and increase the diversity of its funding sources to further benefit families raising disabled and seriously ill children. Since launching, FFBS has donated over £9 million to Family Fund – increasing its profits year-on-year to donate over £4 million to the charity over the last two years.
Over the last year, FFBS has seen a dramatic increase in the number of orders processed and as a result, significant increase in households helped and unrestricted income generated for the charity. In the year 2021-22 FFBS saw a 48% increase in the number of orders processed from the previous year; successful delivery for our customers was possible thanks to FFBS’ agility and responsiveness to the changing marketplace.
