Peaches Patient Voices

Peaches Womb cancer trust

More than 100 members have now joined the Peaches Patient Voices (PPV) team. Each one has their own unique lived experience of womb cancer and is at their own stage of the journey. They may be currently receiving treatment, living beyond treatment or a be family member of someone who has had the disease. PPV members generously and courageously shares their lived experience in a number of ways in order to improve the information, support and treatment options for those who are coming after them. Through Peaches, and thanks to the expert leadership and coordination from volunteer Helen, the team works with researchers in the field, on Peaches' projects and with other stakeholders including publishers and national bodies such as National Institute for Clinical Excellence and Scottish Medicines Consortium.

This year, PPV volunteers have been essential in developing a series of key information videos that are hosted on Peaches' YouTube channel, designed to inform and empower those living with, beyond or at risk from womb cancer. Many of the team played a role in creating these amazing resources which are powerful and impactful - and would not have been possible without their time, efforts, teamwork and determination."
