Nicki has become a huge part of the work we do and a much-loved inspiration to the community we support, since her own brain tumour diagnosis in 2019. We reached out to Nicki at this time to offer our support and she responded with her trademark warmth, resilience and understanding to become one of our most cherished celebrity supporters. She is determined to help others by championing our awareness, campaigning and fundraising work, often reaching out personally to individual supporters on social media. Her personal connection to the cause radiates an honesty and understanding in her representation of what we do. In the last year, she championed the launch of our summer 2022 symptom awareness campaign ‘Better Safe Than Tumour’, appeared across numerous TV shows raising prize money for us, secured £20,000 funds raised at the First Time Buyers’ Awards by nominating us as their chosen charity, and attended our April 2023 art exhibition ‘Time’ supporting the exhibiting artists. We are honoured to have her support and most importantly, those affected in our community see in Nicki a genuine and inspiring beacon of understanding.
