Our Development team has had an amazing year, delivering record-breaking results through exceptional collaboration. We raised £28.3 million—119% of target—in the second year of the Stories Start Here campaign, vastly exceeding all previous annual records.

There are endless highlights, from securing the NT’s largest-ever gifts to delivering a £2 million fundraising gala in which every team member played a pivotal role. We launched a new membership programme, hosted over 100 events, and delivered a unique reception at Buckingham Palace—all demonstrating a high level of coordination, creativity, and positivity. Our success is not only based in the UK. A growing international donor base means that 28% of our income was generated by our incredible US team who work to support our global presence.

Challenges were changed into opportunities and despite leadership transition and economic uncertainty, the team’s drive, adaptability, and deep belief in the NT’s mission shone through. The success of this year was a full team effort which meant we exceeded our ambitious goal and laid the groundwork for future growth, keeping supporters inspired and engaged.
