The Motor Neurone Disease Association was founded in 1979 by a small group of volunteers who knew every day mattered. Today, we’re still the UK's leading MND charity, driving progress towards our vision of a world free from MND.
2025 was a record-breaking year with our highest ever investment in research, more support funding given to people affected by MND than ever and our highest fundraised income. At the same time we laid the foundations for the future with a large scale brand redevelopment incorporating everything from our essence to our logo, our values to our iconography, the development of an ambitious five year research and innovation strategy and the creation of new partnerships to support people affected by MND.
We're here for now and we're here for the future, because every day matters.
