Marketing and Communications

East Anglia's Children's Hospices

East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices’ (EACH) Marketing and Communications team consists of eight (seven-fte) talented, conscientious and motivated colleagues who worked tirelessly to develop brand strength and optimise public awareness last year. They had their own team mission, linking to the organisation’s strategic aims, and consistently reached every audience with the communications they needed, when and how they wanted to receive them.

It’s been a remarkably successful year for the team, all achieved across 5,000 square miles of four counties, amidst the heightened profile of its Royal Patronage and superstar Ambassador, Ed Sheeran.

Their 24-objective operational plan included first-class website development, a meticulous social media schedule, daily media and a stock of powerful family stories, to the creation of films, supporter newsletters and three e-marketing programmes specifically for families receiving care, volunteers and supporters. They also produced a plethora of internal communications, including developing and managing a new intranet, writing brilliant weekly all-staff management executive updates and EACH’s highly-commended Annual Report and Accounts. This is in addition to masses of in-house design work, campaign concepts and brand management tasks, as well as producing a stunning ‘Footprints’ newsletter.

Punching well above its weight, it’s a team to admire and be proud of.
