Lindsey Burrow
Leeds Hospitals Charity
Lindsey Burrow has shown extraordinary dedication to Leeds Hospitals Charity and the Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease Appeal since becoming a patron for the charity in 2022 alongside her late husband, Rob. Following Rob’s death in June 2024, Lindsey has continued to help fulfil his dream of a specialist MND centre in Leeds, raising awareness and vital funds, and has become a powerful advocate for people living with MND and their families.
Lindsey's efforts have significantly boosted Leeds Hospitals Charity's visibility and she has been actively involved in supporting fundraising events and milestones in the journey to build the Rob Burrow Centre for MND.
Even after the charity's £6.8 million fundraising target was met in December 2024, Lindsey has continued to use her profile to raise awareness and take on personal fundraising challenges to help the charity continue to support the Leeds MND Service for years to come. Her unwavering commitment has made a lasting impact on the MND community and the future of the Rob Burrow Centre for MND.
