Ignite Hubs and Colt

Ignite Hubs and Colt formed a partnership in December 2023, united by a shared mission to empower children and young people, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to access high-quality coding and STEM education, develop essential digital skills, and collectively tackle the digital divide.

With Colt’s support, Ignite Hubs has increased its impact, doubled the number of students, expanded its educational offering to include maths, 3D technology and creative writing, and launched their own Online Learning Platform. Colt has also sponsored the next title of their STEM Careers book, helped secure pro bono tech resources and will support future initiatives that include a mentoring programme and hackathon. Most significantly, Colt’s belief in the charity gave its founder the confidence to leave her day job and lead Ignite Hubs full-time.

For Colt, the partnership has delivered meaningful engagement and volunteering opportunities for staff, boosted corporate pride, strengthened community ties, and inspired collective fundraising efforts, most notably the Colt Bike Ride, a demanding 450km charity ride across Europe.
