Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSH charity)

GOSH charity’s mission is to transform the lives of seriously ill children and our strategy focuses on delivering impact, growing income and building partnerships.

The achievements of GOSH charity have been phenomenal over the last year, which is testament to the commitment of our people and supporters, and is reflected in the significant impact delivered, our income growth and the experience of colleagues working at the charity. Achievements have included launching the biggest appeal in our history for a new Children’s Cancer Centre and delivering huge progress in the development of the building plans and permissions for it. In addition, we have significantly uplifted the charity’s investment in paediatric research which will deliver ground-breaking and life-saving new treatments, significantly increased diversity in the charity and delivered significant brand growth, with GOSH charity now being the most loved Children and Families charity. 2022/23 was our most successful year ever in terms of income, hitting £107m, up 45% from £74m in 2021/22 and up 15% against our budget of £93m. This growth will enable the centre to meet every need of children and families affected by cancer, and the dedicated staff who care for them.
