Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity

In 2024/25, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity) delivered its most impactful year to date—raising a record-breaking £140 million to help transform the lives of seriously ill children. As the UK’s largest dedicated children’s health charity, we support ground-breaking research, vital equipment, family services, and the extraordinary work of Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

In 2024/25 we reached £180 million in pledges towards our £300 million ‘Build it. Beat it.’ appeal, to fund a new world-leading Children’s Cancer Centre. We embedded our first impact framework, expanded research investment to £12.9 million across 55 projects, and co-funded cutting-edge cancer research. Our funding enabled the NHS adoption of a new targeted brain tumour treatment for children.

Alongside this, we supported 662 family members with accommodation, launched a new Patient and Family Experience strategy, and grew our committed donor base to over 320,000. We drove sector-leading innovation in fundraising and AI, and advanced our advocacy strategy with national influence.

Through strategic focus, inclusive culture, and deep commitment to impact, GOSH Charity has delivered exceptional outcomes for children and families, and crucially, has kickstarted the construction of the transformational new Children’s Cancer Centre at GOSH.
