Nature is in decline. And while 70% of our land is farmed, the Soil Association knows that the fight for nature will be won on our farms. We are delighted to partner with Ocado Retail, the UK’s largest online only supermarket, who support the organic market with over 3000 products (the UK’s biggest organic range), and regularly outperform all other retailers in this area. With 43% of Ocado Retail customers regularly buying organic, supporting nature-friendly farming isn’t only about doing the right thing, it’s good business sense.

Central to Ocado Retail’s Net Zero strategy is cutting Scope 3 emissions from the supply chain. By combining Soil Association’s 80 years of networks, authority, and expertise with Ocado Retails innovation, agility, and genuine commitment to growing the organic market, we have all the ingredients for real industry transformation.

This partnership delivers through four workstreams. By working directly with farmers, we are scaling the adoption of agroecological and nature-friendly farming practices across the country, in every sector. Our LivWel+ programme prioritises animal welfare and gives farmed animals the opportunity for a good life. Our Farm to Fork Ambassadors celebrate positive stories and champion change, while engagement with Ocado employees brings nature into everyday business decisions.
