Family Action & LV= Corporate Partnership

Family Action transforms lives by providing practical, emotional and financial support to those experiencing poverty, disadvantage and social isolation across the country.

In 2021 LV= General Insurance launched a partnership with Family Action to support FamilyLine, our helpline for families. The partnership was originally intended to last for three years, but its success meant that in February 2023 the decision was taken to extend it to 2025. The partnership vision is to empower every family member to reach out if they need help, to access practical and emotional support. In addition to financial support, LV= has looked to embed their staff within Family Action with the provision of volunteering hours across a range of services, sharing of the company’s experience and expertise from marketing through to data science, and helping to expand and raise awareness of Family Action’s helpline FamilyLine. The partnership between Family Action and LV= ensures that FamilyLine is available to support families, and with LV=, Family Action has been able to grow and develop this service to meet the increasing demand. The partnership is a true collaboration, with teams from both organisations working closely together to achieve joint aims and objectives.
