Faith in Families

Faith in Families has had an exceptional year of impact, growth and recognition, supporting children, families and individuals across Swansea Bay and increasingly across Wales. Rooted in communities for 27 years, we provide an award winning, impactful, community-led, highly respected ecosystem of practical and emotional support, helping people facing poverty, crisis, trauma, isolation and disadvantage with dignity, warmth and without judgement.

Through Cwtch Mawr Wales Multibank, we have distributed over one million essential goods worth over £27 million of social value, including brand new clothing, toiletries, baby equipment, bedding and household items, reaching thousands of people through more than 150 trusted charity and community partners, for free. This work not only meets urgent need, but also protects the planet by turning surplus goods that may otherwise go to waste into practical support for families and communities. Turning waste into worth, pushing poverty away from our people whilst protecting our planet.

Our impact has been strengthened by powerful partnerships with charities, community groups, private businesses, local and national government, dedicated staff, volunteers and trustees. We have grown our reach while staying true to our values of care - Compassion, Aspiration, Respect and Empathy.

At our heart, we believe one child living in poverty is one child too many. Faith in Families is proud to be making lives better today while building stronger, fairer and more connected, cohesive communities for the future, for this generation and the next.
