Trinity is the oldest hospice in the UK, providing free palliative and end of life care to adults across south-west and central London. The film was produced to be a key feature of Trinity’s 130 Gala Dinner at Old Billingsgate in Central London in November 2021. The 2021 Gala was the culmination of our 130th anniversary celebrations and was an opportunity for our community to come together for the first time since the pandemic. The film was played on huge screens in the venue’s Grand Hall in front of 400 guests. It followed a short after-dinner speech from a supporter whose partner had been cared for and died at Trinity. The Gala traditionally brings together long-term Trinity supporters and people whose lives have been personally touched by Trinity's care, along with their guests. Often these guests have little or no knowledge or experience of Trinity’s care or hospice care in general. It was therefore vital to ensure that the film we played during the evening effectively explained the importance and impact of Trinity’s care and what makes it unique.
