Every Deaf Child, Any Level of Hearing Loss

We set out to create a brand identity with a strong message about who we’re here for. Our goal was to connect with families who were missing out on support and to attract new partners and funders.
We consulted more than 1,000 parents, carers and professionals, learning from their feedback and lived experience. We used this insight to shape our new brand.
The first step for our in-house team was to reimagine the existing logo. They transformed the 2 figures into something vibrant and joyful, reflecting the huge ambitions families have for their children. The new logo shows that, with the right support, deaf children can reach for the stars.
Our existing identity was dated and did not work for digital. So, we created an accessible colour palette alongside shapes, patterns, icons and characters that would appeal to children and engage potential partners and funders.
Acting on feedback from families, we reinvented how we talk about the charity. Our new messaging makes it clear that we’re here for deaf children with any level of hearing loss. Alongside this, we’ve developed a flexible tone of voice that champions deaf children’s potential, while challenging anything that holds them back. We’re proud of what we’ve built. But this is just the start. We’re working towards a world where anything is possible for deaf children.
