DIGITALL

Digit is a UK charity helping underserved young people and teachers develop vital digital skills while promoting climate action and wellbeing. With just two core staff, three freelancers and over 40 volunteers, our reach and impact far outweigh our size.

Between June 2024 and May 2025, we reached 313,689 students and 6,515 teachers – doubling our previous year’s reach. Our Coding for Climate Action programme (delivered with Amazon Future Engineer) alone reached 95,000+ students via 1,589 teachers. Over 600 teachers engage with our monthly newsletter and more than 200 use our WhatsApp support groups. Our Net Promoter Score sits consistently above 80.

This year, we’ve tackled challenges like a national shortage of computing teachers, expanding our CPD in AI, online safety and physical computing. We’ve also grown our delivery beyond schools, into libraries and community spaces, ensuring inclusion.

All our training and classroom materials remain free, accessible and scalable. And through partnerships with organisations like Amazon, Civica and the Heritage Fund, we’ve stayed innovative and resilient.

Digit was named West Berkshire’s Charity of the Year in 2025. With reach, agility and lasting impact, we believe we show what’s possible when small charities are built for scale and driven by purpose.
