Crisis, Simon Community and Lloyds Banking Group

Since 2023, Crisis and Lloyds Banking Group, alongside Simon Community in Northern Ireland, have built a pioneering partnership united by a shared belief that everyone deserves a safe and secure place to call home. Together, the partnership has combined long-term funding, employee expertise, campaigning power and frontline innovation to tackle homelessness at both an individual and systemic level.

The partnership has focused on three key goals: empowering people to move out of homelessness permanently through Crisis’ Changing Lives programme; increasing access to affordable housing through the launch of Good Place Lettings; and mobilising employees and communities to help end homelessness nationwide. As demand for Crisis services has grown in both scale and complexity, Lloyds Banking Group has also expanded support for Crisis’ nine Skylight centres, helping sustain and revolutionise vital, frontline services.

The partnership has already delivered significant impact. Since 2023, Lloyds Banking Group employees have volunteered 10,000 hours, fundraised more than £5 million and exceeded original targets by over 150%. More than 270 Changing Lives grants have been awarded, supporting individuals into employment, education and entrepreneurship, while Good Place Lettings has helped over 40 people secure stable housing. Over 23,000 employees have completed homelessness awareness training, strengthening support for vulnerable customers across the banking sector.

The success and long-term value of the partnership is reflected in its extension until 2028, ensuring continued investment in homelessness prevention, employability and frontline transformation.
