Coding for Climate Action

DIGITALL and Amazon Future Engineer

"Digit<all> is a UK charity helping underserved young people develop vital digital skills while promoting climate action and wellbeing. With a core team of just two, supported by freelancers and volunteers, we've reached nearly 600,000 people in 59 countries.

Since 2022, Digit<all> has partnered with Amazon Future Engineer (AFE) to deliver Coding for Climate Action, a free, six-week curriculum where pupils aged 7–14 use coding to tackle real environmental issues. Between June 2024 and May 2025, the partnership trained 1,500+ teachers, reaching 95,000+ students across the UK.

Amazon’s support has gone far beyond funding. They’ve provided strategic oversight, marketing expertise, teacher roundtable input, and co-presented with us at major education conferences. This close collaboration enabled Digit<all> to double its overall reach, build a national ambassador network, and secure further funding and partnerships.

For Amazon, the partnership has deepened their schools engagement, extended their philanthropic impact, and increased their visibility as a values-led contributor to education, not just a future employer.

This partnership is a model of mutual benefit, practical collaboration and mission alignment. It shows how even a small charity can scale impact when backed by the right partner, and how thoughtful corporate support can lead to long-term, systemic change. "
