Charlotte Crowl is the Project Lead at Black Women Rising with 17 years of lived experience, having faced lymphoblastic lymphoma as a teenager. She started as a volunteer and member before becoming a paid staff member. Charlotte now leads core projects, including two monthly face-to-face meet ups, three online support groups, new membership calls and signposting. She offers peer support and manages the ambassadors. An author and speaker, Charlotte has been offering peer support since 2007. She is trained as a peer support worker and has recently undertaken safeguarding lead training, in addition to assisting with peer support worker training in another role and a Mental Health Research Fellowship.
