Until recently, Noah's Ark Children's Hospice was a small, local charity bringing in under £1million a year. The Building The Ark campaign revolutionised the charity, raising £12.5million and enabling the building of The Ark, a new children's hospice building for North and Central London. Through a combination of exceptional major donor relationships and a community fundraising campaign, the charity raised an unprecedented amount of money to build, fit out and run The Ark. The charity now has relationships with many of the campaign's funders, who have pledged their ongoing commitment to the cause.
On 26 September 2019, The Ark was officially opened. It was a transformational moment for the charity, moving from a solely community-based model of care to an integrated model with its own hospice building at the heart. The Building The Ark campaign will have a direct and lasting impact on some of the most seriously ill children you could possibly meet.
