Building Pathways to Educational Opportunity
The Access Project and ICG
Since 2022, ICG has supported TAP at a pivotal stage in its development. Alongside helping the charity to support more young people from under-resourced backgrounds access top universities, the partnership enabled TAP to test and scale new delivery models, strengthen organisational resilience and invest in key infrastructure to support future growth.
Following initial investment in systems and capability, from June 25 – May 26 ICG supported the rollout of TAP’s Accelerate programme and the embedding of The Access Hub, a digital platform hosting tuition, coaching, mentoring and university access support. These investments have led to significantly increased efficiency, improved student experience and built a stronger foundation for long-term impact and growth.
The partnership also created opportunities for ICG colleagues to engage directly with young people through mentoring, skills-sharing and career insight activities, strengthening connections between education and the workplace.
Together, TAP and ICG have demonstrated how strategic, long-term partnership can achieve more than programme delivery alone, creating both immediate opportunities for young people and lasting organisational change. “Having this support makes me feel like my goals are actually within reach. It's inspiring to work with The Access Project, they genuinely wants to see me succeed, and help me to stop doubting myself.” Student feedback.
