Aimee O'Connor-Ramsey

Aimee O’Connor-Ramsey embodies Centrepoint’s values (energy, entrepreneurship, accountability, and humility) in everything she does. A passionate advocate and unwavering team player, she has transformed her personal experience of homelessness into a powerful tool for connection and change, exactly the type of leadership we need to end youth homelessness.

She has consistently shown initiative, leadership and enthusiasm to improve young lives in her roles as an Apprentice Receptionist in 2022 and also in her current role in the Face-to-Face fundraising team, Recently, she has leapt at upskilling opportunities and taken the lead to ensure young people and fundraisers are supported without disruption amid team changes.

Aimee amplifies young voices, including her own. Last year, she inspired over 400 sector leaders, decision-makers, and major donors by speaking at three Centrepoint events. This was above and beyond Aimee’s role, showing her commitment to driving life-changing support for young people.

In one year, Aimee advanced her technical skills, spearheaded her team through change, spoke at events, and nurtured internal and external relationships, all in pursuit of brighter futures for young people. She is a true Rising Star, proof that, whatever your journey so far, determination and purpose can empower others and create lasting change.
