Adam Tulloch

Total Insight Theatre

A lived experience leader, Adam Tulloch FRSA founded Total Insight Theatre in 2014 aged 23 years old, assuming the role of Chief Executive. During his time, he has grown our services from a single drama club in Crystal Palace to a programme supporting crime prevention and mental health across London, Kent, West Yorkshire and the East Midlands, engaging 6,000 children and young people in 2019/20. He has demonstrated considerable skill in change management, transitioning the organisation from a registered non-profit to registered charity in 2019, and demonstrating his ability again when we all encountered a year like no other as a result of COVID-19. As public venues closed and our after-school sessions, support hubs, crime prevention and performances required adaptation, Adam knew that our support for children and young people could not stop, and so guided the charity to adapt digitally to significant success. Having only just turned 30, Adam is a Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts, appeared in The Big Issue’s Top 100 Changemakers 2020 and was Highly Commended as Children and Young People's Champion in the 2020 Children & Young People Now Awards, continuing to inspire staff and young people alike.
