Daniel Valentine

Daniel Valentine is Chair of STAND (formerly Legs4Africa), an international charity which rescues used prosthetics and distributes them to amputees in to sub-Saharan Africa. In 2025, STAND helped over 1600 people to walk again. In 2025 Daniel won "Trustee of the Year" at the Kent Charity Awards and was runner up for the "Charity Chair of the Year" at the Third Sector Awards. Over the last 25 years Daniel has worked for some of the world's leading organisations, as both an inhouse manager and as a consultant. Daniel is a regular conference speaker and has trained board members in many of the UK's leading organisations.
