Cristina Huddleston
Chief Executive Officer , Community360
Cristina's formative years were in Romania, where she experienced a growing awareness of the injustice of a broken system failing individuals living below the poverty line and marginalised communities, experiencing domestic violence, and missing children. This is an area where Cristina is a strong Ambassador, having won the prestigious award of Women of the Future in the Community Spirit category from Marie Claire. Cristina sought the right educational opportunities and paths that allowed her to develop the infrastructures required to address these issues and implemented an inclusive model upon which strong partnerships are built and maintained. Cristina was awarded the Marsh Awards for Outstanding Contribution to the Fight Against Slavery. Cristina is Fellow Associate of the Royal Commonwealth Society where I seek to influence and support many communities across the Commonwealth countries engaging with younger generations to build a stronger resilience against abuse and exploitation. Over the last 10 years she was honoured to have the opportunity to address the gaps in our social justice system, ensuring organisations put Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery at the top of their agenda and victims are at the heart of decision making receiving the highest standards of service. She is passionate about preventing the societal issues that cause the exploitation of vulnerable people, committed to the delivery of a safer, inclusive, kinder society, and to being key in building a landscape of hope, safety, and protection for our communities, tackling the inequalities faced by young children and their families.
