RBC RACE FOR THE KIDS

Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity

To celebrate the 10th year of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity's (GOSH Charity) flagship event, RBC Race for the Kids, the charity wanted to make it bigger and better than ever before. The event took place on 12 October 2019 in Hyde Park and is an inclusive, 5k family fun run and festival with the aim of celebrating the work of Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). With a participant increase of 66% from 6,000 to 10,000 and an income increase of 71% from 2018, the event went above and beyond for the charity.

To achieve this it took a charity-wide effort, new sustainable elements, innovative marketing tools, new media partnerships, huge corporate partnership involvement, hospital support and enhanced stewardship journeys, making RBC Race for the Kids the biggest event ever held by GOSH Charity. It was also the most financially successful of any of its mass participation events; helping to create a better future for seriously ill children from across the UK.
